Overview

Slothy (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data.

All task data stays on your device:

• Tasks: Titles, emoji, and completion status
• Settings: Task limit per list, notification preferences, and usage counters (e.g. tasks completed, procrastinated)

We never have access to your task content or personal information.

Anonymous Analytics

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand how the app is used in aggregate. This helps us improve Slothy.

What is tracked (anonymously):

• App opened
• Device language
• Onboarding started and completed
• Task created, completed, moved, or deleted (event only — no task content)
• Reminder enabled or disabled

What is NOT tracked:

• No personal data (name, email, phone, etc.)
• No IP addresses (TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses)
• No device identifiers
• No task titles or content
• No advertising IDs

All analytics data is fully anonymous. We cannot identify individual users. TelemetryDeck is GDPR-compliant and does not require cookie consent. Learn more at telemetrydeck.com.

Where Your Data Is Stored

• Task data is stored only on your device (local storage / AsyncStorage)
• We do not have access to your tasks or settings
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device
• Anonymous analytics data is stored by TelemetryDeck on servers in the European Union

Notifications

• Slothy can send local notifications as daily reminders
• Notifications are opt-in — you choose to enable them during onboarding or in settings
• Notification scheduling happens entirely on your device
• No push notification tokens are sent to our servers

Third Parties

• TelemetryDeck (analytics) — privacy-first, no personal data collected. Privacy policy
• We do not use advertising SDKs
• We do not sell or share your data

Your Rights

• You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app
• Analytics data is anonymous and cannot be linked to you

Children’s Privacy

Slothy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
